Casa Cuna Cuenteros has carried out a number of activities related to the fields of Literature and Health since 2013.
Storytelling session and follow-up debate organised by the Social Work staff of the Hospital. Topic: gender issues.
Storytelling Session: Children’s Day Celebration organised by the Nephrology Staff of the Hospital.
“Teachers as Storytellers”: volunteering storytelling sessions in the hospital waiting rooms summoned twice a year during winter and summer school breaks.
Participation in “Girapalabras” sponsored by ALIJA - IBBY Board on Books for Young People (Asociación de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil de Argentina ALIJA - IBBY) These talks were coordinated by Lic. María Laura Ormando gathering experiences of Literature and Health in different Hospitals.
- Books giveaway sponsored by SM Publishing House. Books were given to children and families after carrying out storytime sessions in different areas of the hospital.
Storytime sessions in Casa Garrahan - a home for children and families who live far from the Buenos Aires City and are undergoing medical treatments at different Children’s Public Hospitals

Storytime sessions at BIBLIOTECA DEL OTRO LADO DEL ÁRBOL, Parque Saavedra, La Plata, Buenos Aires. This is a very special Children’s Library inspired by the life of Pilar, a five-year old girl who died of cancer and who loved books and stories.
